Introducing "Twenty Six," an evocative artwork that encapsulates the profound wisdom of Woody Allen's quote, "We think too much, and we feel too little." In a world increasingly dominated by technology and rationality, this piece invites us to pause and reflect on the importance of embracing our humanity. Two faceless figures, one adorned with the number 2 and the other with 6, stand side by side, symbolising the delicate balance between thought and emotion. Beyond the realm of mere machinery and cleverness, the artwork poignantly reminds us of the essential virtues of kindness and gentleness. Immerse yourself in this captivating visual dialogue, a gentle nudge to reconnect with our emotions and rediscover the true essence of our existence.

About the Artist

Brigitte Polemis

Brigitte's work is caught between the disciplines of photography, printing, design and sculpture. Her work is defined by her minimal aesthetics of colour, line and form. Herchoice of Perspex as her media, the use of technologies and her attention to high production values, gives her artwork a very contemporary feel. in addition, the use of the multiple motif and lined backgrounds ads elements of surreal, optical and pop art, that in her work find a new unique expression.

Brigitte Polemis is represented by Mamush Gallery from June 2016.
