Immerse yourself in the thought-provoking artwork "Common Sense is not Common." This striking piece ingeniously transforms the iconic McDonald's fries box into a symbol of our shared behaviours and societal norms. The artist's keen observation challenges us to reflect on the prevalence of imitation over individuality in our vast world. As the familiar "M" emblem gives way to the phrase "Common Sense is not common," and potatoes evolve into faceless figures in suits, we 're prompted to contemplate conformity and identity. Explore this profound commentary on modern consumerism and the complexities of our human experience.

About the Artist

Brigitte Polemis

Brigitte's work is caught between the disciplines of photography, printing, design and sculpture. Her work is defined by her minimal aesthetics of colour, line and form. Herchoice of Perspex as her media, the use of technologies and her attention to high production values, gives her artwork a very contemporary feel. in addition, the use of the multiple motif and lined backgrounds ads elements of surreal, optical and pop art, that in her work find a new unique expression.

Brigitte Polemis is represented by Mamush Gallery from June 2016.
